A huge room with a terrace and a sparkling large bathroom with a shower, wooden tub, and river views. Fridge stocked with beer and soft drinks and a washer-dryer for longer stays. "There are a lot of shops nearby, all within walking distance. Nishiki market is about 5 minute walk from hotel. Several train stations near hotel. The onsen was fabulous, especially after hours of walking, taking in sights. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Kyoto. It will definitely be where I stay when I return."

"Highly recommend this hotel chain. English speaking staff, which made it easy for us to communicate. Kabin Koji doesn’t have laundry in the hotel but there is a laundromat down the street 30 seconds away. Situation in a quiet neighbourhood right down from the Main Street. Would highly recommend the Kabin chain. "

"If you wish to stay in a traditional ryokan and still get the option to be near dining and shopping, I would highly recommend this place to everyone! It’s very close to popular shopping centres, great local restaurants, and the subway/bus stations. The family who run the ryokan are amazing and are so attentive to my needs. This place truly did make my Kyoto trip so special! I will definitely be coming back next time :)"
