"Pleasantly surprised. This looks like a small motel, but is an apartment complex that rents out a few units. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom a separate from the kitchen dining room. Just a few blocks from the beach… and a great beach club. For a low budget trip, this place was just great. The staff did not speak any english but google translate helped to facilitate good communication. "

"This simple hotel was very clean with a nice comfortable bed. There was a mini fridge, coffee maker and burner. There was good water pressure and lots of hot water in the shower. For the price this was a very comfortable stay in a quiet residential area of Playa del Carmen."
