"With this property being right on the beach and my room overlooking the ocean, my stay at the Laguna Surf Lodge was the perfect escape from the daily grind. Everything one needs is within walking distance. I only left the property to run on the beach, go eat at one of the many great restaurants, or walk around town to sight see. "Great location for the fairgrounds…walkable. Also convenient for taking ride share services to places in Costa Mesa and Newport Beach. They offered an airport shuttle service, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was simple and adequate. The breakfast and day staff were excellent. The night staff couldn’t be bothered though."
