"Really lovely owners and bar staff, younger girl waitering in the evening was a bit miserable which stood out a bit as all the other staff were so lovely. The owners really look after you and are so accommodating, genuinely kind, nice people as we’re the bar staff. The room was clean and modern and perfect for our family stay of four, with young children aged 7 & 9. I can’t believe this is only a three star hotel, as it went way above this. The breakfast was really good as well. This is a lovely bar/hotel in the heart of the Village, it’s got a lovely warm, homely, safe atmosphere, with lovely people who obviously live locally going there as well as holiday makers from all over the place. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be staying again. Great location to see local areas of interest and price wise was a bargain in comparison to other place, we really landed on our feet here. Thank you for a lovely stay. "
"Hosts were wonderful, very welcoming.
Accomodation was spotless with everything we needed, breakfast was fabulous and set us up for the day. Dog friendly and were very welcoming to our four legged friend. "
"Disappointing stay - room was described as 'deluxe' but was on the small side and being up in the eaves of the roof meant one of us had to duck to get in and out of bed. No turn down / refresh on day 1, no waste bin, small but basic things - especially at the price paid. Staff although friendly, were difficult to find (only available via WhatsApp ??), reception never staffed. Overall a great a shame as the hotel has a beautiful setting and grounds. We wint be returning. "
"Very good hotel in the centre of Dunster so didn’t need to move the car for the whole weekend. We were able to park our car in the hotel’s car park at back of property. Breakfast was very good - freshly cooked, The owners were very friendly & helpful"
"Loved welcome to the hotel. Room was nice and the bed was very comfy. The views and grounds were beautiful. Breakfast there was plenty to choose from."
"We spent a most enjoyable two days at Bossington Hall.
We loved the authentic grandeur of this Arts & Crafts home and the genuinely warm welcome.
The staff ensured our stay was relaxed with the most impressive and comfortable bedroom. The breakfasts were quite exceptional, and the grounds were a joy.
If you are happy to stay in during the evenings, a range of light snacks is available and an ‘honesty’ bar ensures you will be well catered for. If you want a more substantial supper, then it is worth giving some advanced thought to where you might eat locally. There are plenty of choices, but booking is advised in a busy season.
For our vacations, we look for history, authenticity, a touch of grandeur and welcoming staff. Bossington Hall exceeded on all fronts, and we very much look forward to returning.

"Nice country pub room was clean and comfortable with ensuite.
Staff are great and the pub has a nice relaxed feel with a bar area used by the locals (Friendly) with everything you want from a country pub.
Restaurant area separate from the pub with a good varied menu.the food I had was great and good value for money.
I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area."
