When we first arrived, there was a light smell of smoke in the room and a minor issue with cleanliness. We let the host know, and they responded right away with genuine kindness. "We stayed for four nights as a family (my wife and our children, ages 6 and 10) and the experience was fantastic. The accommodation’s location is ideal for exploring Tuscany—very central and convenient for getting around.

"Great stay for an excellent price and wonderful breakfast the next morning. Good views from our rooftop balcony made for a great evening and morning sit. The air-con works well, and I really enjoyed the unique shower arrangement (you have to unfold the shower enclosure from the wall) which gives you a spacious bathroom when you don't need the shower.
The front desk and staff are very accommodating, and did their best with my inability to speak Italian! There is a nice children's park next door...

"A bit run down and smelled like long-ago smokers. Our room was small and dark, and the pictures are really good in comparison. Check-in was not really friendly, but not unpleasant either. Just business. That being said, it wasn't a horrible stay, and for the money, it was clean, the breakfast was great, and the shower was hot. Not memorable, but for an overnight, not a bad deal."

"Clean and beautiful B&B. Excellent breakfast. Amazing view from the garden and pool area. Timely instructions via whatsapp regarding keys and access on the day of arrival. Friendly and helpful staff. PS: Not the responsibility of the B&B, but nice to know: To go into Quarrata from the B&B, don't follow google maps instructions for the shortest road - it's on extremely steep , windy and narrow roads through olive groves. Beautiful, but really not for a car. ;-) "

"Hidden gem in the side of Toscana, lovely staff and amazing food! 10/10 when it comes to that, however, the thing that draws in down from 5/5 stars from me is that there was no AC in the room, which is a must in July when the temperature is 35-39 degrees"
