World Trade Center Schiphol Airport is worth a visit when in central Schiphol. Let yourself be amazed at the art galleries and museums in the area too. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander.
The centre of Schiphol is home to cultural attractions like Rijksmuseum Amsterdam Schiphol, so you might want to stop by during your stay. If you want to experience more of the culture Schiphol has to offer, head to World Trade Center Schiphol Airport, Amsterdamse Bos, and Winkelcentrum Vier Meren.
Love the shopping, the lack of annoying overhead announcements, the mini Rijksmusuem in the airport, the CHEESE.

Good
Big airport with plenty to do on layovers. Their transfer security points could use some better hours but the staff was super helpful getting me to the one that was open so I could make my transfers

It is a very large airport but so well layed out and signs clearly provide you the directions you need to get around.

The KLM Crown Lounge 52 is very good. It closes 2200-0445 so the YOTELAIR is fine for a few hours if you are flying KLM Business and have an evening arrival with transfer onto an early flight the next day.

Excellent location as within 10 minutes walk under a covered walkway from the hotel to the airport.

Schipol airport is enormous. I don't know if hotel shuttle could drop you closer to your letter gates. Hotel shuttle made just one stop in middle, pretty long walk.
"Great hotel on the outskirts of town. Easy metro connections to the centre and about a 15 min walk to Amstel train station. Lovely, comfortable room with good sound proofing and blackout blinds. Only downside was the boiling water tap in the galley on our floor was faulty so had to go down a level to make tea. "
"Park Plaza Victoria is a beautiful hotel, conveniently located across the road from centraal train station. Tip, walk outside the station, turn left and walk through the underpass, then you'll see the hotel across the road. Rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds and warm showers. Vic's bar is lovely and chilled, with nice cocktails and some yummy bar snacks. The burger was really tasty! The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. A wonderful stay, we'll be back! 😁"
"Such a great hotel. Clean, modern, spacious. Snack bar 24/7. Best breakfast! We had a room on the 17th floor and had big windows. Was pretty far from the center and the metro across the street wasn’t operating so we needed to take a car about 15 minutes into town each day. Nothing outside the hotel to do so had to travel. Was a great place to come back to though!"
"very convenient to airport and train station. rooms quite good, though very modern and small compact, from to bed shower to toilet, literally. definitely not for a family with kids, at least the room I had. A couple ok, but not my wife’s cup of tea. but very quiet as the airport is right there out the window. Bed very comfy. Took a while to figure out the Apple control pad!!! But for the convenience to public transport and the price well worth it. definitely would stay again when going solo!!"
"We had a great stay and it was mainly due to the location and most of the staff . We could walk to many areas and also well connected to transportation. In general we were welcomed with a friendly smile and very helpful staff. I would normally give 5 stars for service except for the fact that the some of the staff at breakfast from Tuesday till our departure on Friday seemed unhappy and at times. One was even banging the covering for the buffet and coffee station. It’s was very off putting. Specially since it seemed he was unhappy about being asked for milk. "
