Great experience at the property

Great place to stay. Great food, close to the airport, and in a quiet, scenic part of the country, away from the city.

We loved staying here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room had a great Mountain View. It’s one of the cutest hotels we’ve stayed in. I wish there was a drop box for keys, we left early in the morning but the lobby was locked so we couldn’t check out. We left our key in the room and called the hotel at 7 am to let them know. We had already prepaid so it wasn’t a big deal. Highly recommend this cute little getaway hotel.

Perfect stay - luxurious and comfortable

The only thing I did not like was the church bell across the street that rings every 15 minutes, but the hotel provides ear plugs. They were a great help.

Super clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast.

The property was beautiful. Updated, and the staff is very friendly. There was no parking, so that got a little pricey if you wanted to park close to the hotel, but I think that’s the norm in Reykjavík. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to Iceland.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were elegant, comfortable and cozy. The breakfast buffet each morning was fabulous with lots to choose from, including smoked salmon, local cheese and fresh bread made at the bakery next door. A beautiful secluded hotel out in the countryside about 8 miles outside of Hella. By far the most local experience hotel we stayed in. Very quiet and enjoyed a nice walk in the country one morning.

Great location, right on the bay. Beautiful views. Easy walks nearby. Plenty to do on property. Great breakfast.

Our room was on the first floor was clean. During our stay we had excellent dinners at the nearby restaurants.

The property itself is really lovely, however the ceiling to floor room windows were amazing. The aurora came to life and we were able to watch it from the comfort of our room. Once in a lifetime amazing experience.

Good hotel in the area of the golden circle Convenient to visit the beatufull sightseeing of this area

Hotel Kria was a perfect place to stay on the southern coast of Iceland. It was a cozy and welcoming environment with very nice room accommodations. The location was perfect for exploring Thorsmork, walking along the black sand beaches, and served as our home base for exploring Skaftafell national park and the glacier lagoons. We stayed for only one night, but this is one of our favorite hotels. First of all, we are family of 5 and stayed in the family room. It is more than enough to accommodate six people comfortably. The hotel is also extremely well maintained and very clean. It is directly across the street from a grocery store. I can't say enough about this wonderful hotel - our favorite in Iceland. We have traveled through Iceland for 9 days now and this has been, by far, the best hotel. Our room was beautiful, with a balcony overlooking the water. The hotel had a kind of museum in it that was interesting and not quite hokey. The staff was terrific, particularly the general manager - very friendly and willing to chat and answer our questions. Food was very good.

Located very close to night life and restaurants but still in a quiet area. Close to several pickup locations for shuttle buses and tour pick up locations.

My stay at Alda & Iceland itself was wonderful. As a solo traveler I felt safe at the hotel & the front desk staff was very helpful as well as friendly! Room was cute & clean. They provided a coffee maker & mini fridge which I stored some items from the Bonus store 2 mins away. I was sad to leave.
