We chose Merida Santiago Hotel Boutique based on overwhelmingly positive reviews. We were very satisfied. There was nothing to complain about this hotel. The rooms are really big, spacious and comfortable, well lit and clean. And despite the heat of Merida we never suffered. I think it is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. A lot better than bigger name hotels in the city. And the staff was really helpful and attentive. All in all the best stay I’ve had

Very smooth check in and check out. Staff were polite and helpful. The hotel is centrally located in Merida Centro, walking distance to Cathedral and plaza. There are some good restaurants within a few blocks from the hotel. The standard room is a decent size with a large bathroom. Hot water, aircon, TV all worked fine. There is a small table and chair. Would have liked another chair! Included breakfast was good, nice sized pool.

At the weekend this is a perfect spot - the Mexican Nights musical program takes place right outside the hotel so you have a ringside seat. Then on Sundays you can stroll the Paseo Montejo just up the road - it is closed for traffic on Sunday morning so families are out on their bikes.
