"Great place"

"The property was clean, in a good location, and staff super nice. But the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on outside your room. The first night, guests came up from the bar after 2 am and after 30 min of listening to them yell and slam doors, I called the front desk. They didnt stop until after 430 in the morning. I am in san angelo to work early in the morning so this was extremely frustrating. The next day I was told they had checked out and it should be quiet up on the floor I was staying. They put a family who had rented several rooms on the floor up there right next to me. Tejano music blasting, kids yelling and doors slamming until late. It was aggravating to say the least. I am usually not one to leave a bad review, and I know the staff can only do so much to keep guests quiet. But if you are planning on going to this hotel, be prepared for noise and not much sleep. Unless they put the people they said are there for work and meetings in different floors than families and those there to party. And mind you this was a Tuesday and Wednesday night. Not even a weekend. I would love to go back to this hotel bc I will be traveling to San angelo for the foreseeable future. But I cant risk not getting sleep with the job I have."

"The hotel is clean, and the attendants are friendly. The breakfast was good and the attendant was very helpful, but breakfast is from 6:00 am to 9:00 am. Seemed to finish earlier than most places. On the other hand, the rooms have rock hard beds, the bathtub that has a high tub wall that is not easy to get in and out of to take a shower. The shower waterpower itself feels as if you are bathing with a power washer. I had to protect my head with my hands as the water has too much power. In addition, the counter space in the restroom on the side of the sink is about 8 inches wide so you cannot set things down when bathing. No luggage rack in room. If you need more towels, the front desk attendant said I had to bring my dirty towels down to replace them with new ones as they do not have enough towels because some customers pile up towels and then they run out of towels for other guests. As it rained, we had to park at a parking space a distance away from the hotel because roofers repairing roof were throwing nails in front of building. At checkout time, 11:00 am, an elevator maintenance person was fixing their only elevator in the entire building, and we could not go check-out. When I asked him why he chose to fix it at check-out time, he replied that most people check-out at 9:00 am and he had nothing to do so he came to work on the elevator. He decided to put the elevator back together so we could ride down with our luggage. This was not a comfortable or convenient stay."
