"This is a 15 out of 10 experience for us. The view of the sunrise and sunsets were spectacular and panoramic. Every single staff member went out of their way to carry our bags, answer our questions and accomodate us. We got a 5 star experience at 3 star prices because the top hotel had only been open one week and there was still painting, electrical work, installations happening in the common areas. "I loved this resort! Great location, great service, breakfast was excellent. The beach was beautiful as were pools/restaurants. I saw sooo many animals. Hotel staff was so happy and so helpful. I felt completely pampered and treated like royalty. I couldn't recommend enough and I have stayed at many hotels/many countries. "Amazing property with attention to every detail. Loved having our own concierge to help with questions. Service to the beach was helpful and appreciated. Loved the restaurant by the pool and especially the pool. The sloth tour was incredible that is why we stayed at Tulemar. Loved all the monkeys as well. "They gave me the crappiest room they have despite many, almost all rooms being available on my floor. The balcony opened to an indoor wall. The down stairs is open to the entry hall and sidewalk. When people stand outside and smoke all of it comes straight to this area, as well as people talking. The staff was ok. Sat at the desk pre occupied. Nothing special. "My wife and I had a wonderful four days at the hotel. The staff (Madeline, Dillon and Brandon) should be commended for making us feel like it was our private resort. The hotel is in an incredible setting- so close to the downtown yet it feels like you are in your own ecosystem with nature. The pool, patio, food were all wonderful. Our suite was very unique and comfortable- just a bit dated but otherwise no issues. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!"
