"The best part about the hotel is the staff. Humans work at the desk, make you a cocktail when you arrive, show you to the room, and give you personalized recommendations for places to eat. The whole experience gives that classic hotel feeling I've missed so much in the modern world. The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Will definitely come back!"

"It was just what we needed after our cabin in Idyllwild had a plumbing issue on Sunday that we couldn’t address until Monday. We made that decision late in the day and Fireside’s ABnB style self check in and clean comfortable rooms with a kitchenette allowed us to order food, relax a bit and sleep comfortably then get going the next morning to attack our cabin issue. Can’t say we’ll be back (hope not) but it’s a quiet yet close mountain spot if you want to spend time in Idyllwild."

"I really enjoyed Hotel California, the courtyard with the pool is beautiful and the rooms are nice. Parking is easy, it's in a great location and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a bonus. Highly recommend."

The two bedroom impala was a very spacious and comfortable room but quite noisy considering it is right next to where breakfast is served each morning and people congregate. If youre looking for a relaxing stay - Id recommend staying in a room away from the main pool and bar. "

"Had a wonderful experience!! Cabin bigger than it looks, very clean, TONS of towels (which I respect), and it had all your basic needs. Communication from the hosts was easy and responsive! The location is absolutely perfect! Easy walk to town! The backyard is perfect for dogs but make sure to keep them leashed. We will absolutely be coming back!"

"Lovely stay. This hotel has charm, beautiful architecture with large rooms, comfortable bed and an outstanding shower. Nested amongst pine trees and is only a 5 minute drive to downtown. The library is nicely appointed with large windows to enjoy the views. The Anora Cafe which has excellent food plus live music was less than a 10 minute walk away. This place was a pleasant surprise…"
