"This was our first time at Granduca-Houston, our history with the brand dates back to the opening of Granduca-Austin and countless stays over the years. Granduca-Houston did not disappoint. It was luxurious, but not trashy/gaudy, as some Houston hotels in the area tend to be, quiet, staffed with good people and loaded with useful amenities. We travel to Houston frequently and the Granduca will be a welcomed respite while in town."

"Very nice heated pool. Hotel was nice. Be aware that it is not within walking distance of restaurants or bars. But Ubers are easy. If you want a city view be sure to get a room on the east side. On the west side, get a room overlooking the pool, not a parking garage which is at the south end. We were hoping to visit the Black Swan club in the hotel, but it was closed for a special occasion. Bar and restaurant are OK but nothing to write home about"

"It was in a safe neighborhood. Can easily walk to the largest mall in Texas. The Galleria. Lots of shopping and food options close by. The room was very clean and well maintained. The staff was super attentive. Traffic in Houston is insane so having so many conveniences nearby it really wonderful. We stayed 3 days 2 nights. "
