"The atmosphere here was perfect for a mountain town. The room was a bit outdated but very clean. However, the whole room was sloped pretty severly, and when showering it was overly apparent that its not level. Its in the perfect location for walking to everything! We thought it was odd that there was no staff on site but check in and out was easy. And the staff at Meadowbrook was vey helpful."

"We had a wonderful stay at The Embers in Blowing Rock. We went for our anniversary and stayed four nights. We had a delightful corner room with fantastic outdoor space. The staff could not have been nicer and the location is fantastic. This really should get six stars."
