"If you like stately old homes, this is the place. It is has got to be over 100 years old. The woodwork and spiral staircase are amazing. They don’t make homes like this anymore. Huge rooms, all redone; sitting parlors, one with a piano. It was simply amazing. And the staff was first rate, as was the free continental breakfast. We did a Red Wings game one night, Pistons the next, and the arena was a five minute walk to the end of the block and then across Woodward. This is also a slightly longer...

"We love this hotel. It is in the heart of Detroit, so most everything is walkable, plus it is on the Detroit River. The rooms are always clean and the staff usually let us check in early, which is a massive benefit when flying in from another state. There are good dining options + I enjoy seeing the GM vehicles on the main floor. "
