"The staff are extremely friendly and the rooms were clean. Love the history of the inn and the history maintained within the inn! The inn itself is close to a lot (Snallygasters, The Barn, Kelley Farm Kitchen, and Bolivar Bread Bakery are all in walking distance; and Lower Town is less than a mile away). Definitely would love to stay here again!!!"

"Stopped for an overnight on way back to New York from Hilton head South Carolina. It was easily accessible off the route we were taking and reasonably priced. Room was large with two queen beds and a pull out couch. We didn’t use any of the amenities except breakfast in the morning which was mediocre at best but large selection if you like that kind of food. Overall great place to stay would stay there again. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"A very inexpensive place to hang your hat for a few days if you’re visiting the Civil War battlefields and the surrounding area, the staff is so so very helpful again I can’t say enough about the staff.
