"Beautiful property with incredible views. It’s very definitely a boutique property and the owner is readily available to guests, which really makes it special. The pool is incredible and the daily visits from monkeys really add to the charm (although just make sure you don’t leave your clothes on the balcony to dry overnight :-) ). "

But overall the rooms are outdated, with a very strong smell of cleaning supplies. The aircondition is old and pointing directly at the bed, so we ended up with a bad throat infection the first day here (but 3rd week in Thailand). Talked to other guest who had experienced the same. "

Unlike what you may think based on reviews and the price you have to pay for a stay, this is far away of being a 5 star resort. Our accommodation was old, service is ok, but not more. Employees are not trained for 5 star service. Food is mediocre. In general, the hotel sells an experience, but does not deliver.
