"Amazing location with Grasmere on your doorstep, beautiful room with views over farmland and the lake. Didn't realise upon booking we'd have access to a sauna which was a lovely surprise - but best of all was watching the badgers on the lawn at dusk right outside our windows - an unforgettable experience! Love how ethically focused the hotel was too! Will definitely be staying here again!"

"A beautiful hotel in a perfect location in Grasmere away from the more crowded areas of the south Lake District. The hotel is clean and well-maintained with helpful staff and a very welcome health spa with jetted pool, sauna and steam room. The location on a beautiful lake opposite the historic William Wordsworth Dove Cottage really could not be more ideal. A five star experience: we extended our stay due to the excellence of the hotel and it's ideal location."
