Cluj is a wonderful city to visit. It is filled with historical and architectural sites. It is a clean and safe city. Most everyone knows enough English, but as always learn basic courtesies when visiting a foreign country and use it.

This is our first time in Cluj-Napoca. One week was not enough for us to see and try everything. We will be back. We found the city to be clean, the people to be friendly and the food to be delicious!

Hampton by Hilton Cluj-Napoca

"We loved staying at this hotel. We were able to check in early. Staff was courteous and helpful. Walking distance from the downtown area (old town). "
"The room was large, the bed was relatively comfortable. There were only 2 flat pillows, which made it a bit uncomfortable for two people. The air-conditioner was fine. Breakfast was very good, better than most other hotels we stayed at on this trip. There was a free secure parking in front of the hotel - very convenient. The hotel is on the river bank and there is a park across the river. A walk through the park gets you to the old town."
"Loved the location, the courtyard structure of the building, very comfortable bed, bathroom, and climate control, breakfast. Staff was very helpful getting taxis and managing flight delays and spoke very good English. Be advised, no elevator and reception only present from 8 am to 8 pm. All in all, charming building just around the corner from the Orthodox cathedral."
"Excellent location, near Iulius Mall, walking distance to transit. Walking distance to grocery store and mall. The hotel reception people were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean, A/C in each room, washing machine provided for the business suites. "
"This is a smart frictionless hotel where everything is handled on your phone (check-in, access etc.) which perfectly fits my travel style. It was very clean and I am super picky "
