"Wonderful hotel, very central to everything. Staff went out of their way to assist. Car park only £9 for 24 hours. Room was modern and a decent size and had everything needed, including a huge comfortable bed. Would not hesitate to stay again if visiting the area."

"Unfortunately, the property did not meet reasonable cleanliness or maintenance standards. On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. "Lift was out of order and main light in room was not working. Staff were very polite and smartly dressed. The building is charming but would benefit from a little TLC. The room itself was very clean with a well stocked hospitality tray. There was virtually no noise from outside which meant a peaceful night's sleep. "Unable to get in touch with the host. Was refused a refund after I went to the property and it was unclean and random person sleeping in the shared areas. Bedroom lock barely attached to the door and furniture in poor state of repair I didn't sleep at the property as I felt unsafe and no refund issued. Does not look like the listing pictures. "

"When i arrived i was sent the code to the key safe to get the keys. When I opened it there was no key in the safe. Having phoned the contact number and cutting a long story short a member of staff had gone off with the keys in his pocket. Also there was no shower gel in the shower. The kitchen is communal and the walls are not thick and I was awaken by the sound of cups being knocked together at approximately 6 am."
