"No AC, 34 deg room with only small window opening. Constant fumes from smoking either from outside or through ducting. Staff said it’s time of year but seem to have AC in reception. Area around hotel is run down. Bonus, cats in reception are was friendly but after 4 days of little sleep couldn’t wait to get home."

"All the staff were excellent and helpful. They gave me good advice of where to shop and how to get about in Istanbul. The whole building was very clean and tidy. My cleaning lady was excellent and always happy even though neither of us could speak each other’s language. If I was to go to Istanbul again, I would stay again at Holiday Inn. "
