"Very helpful staff. Hotel gave vibes of faded glory. Breakfast was in the fridge in the room which was a first for me. There weren't any chairs in the room to sit and eat it though."

"Check in was easy and plenty of free on site parking. Bar staff worked hard but you could clearly see they were understaffed. We eat twice, both times outside, the weather was glorious. Restaurant inside was stuffy with no fresh air, or windows open. Food was excellent , served reasonably quickly. Our room although very tired and in need of a new carpet was ok, bed was very comfortable. Bathroom again was in need of modernising but the shower was very good. Location was excellent just a short walk in the village. Overall good and we’d stay again if in the area. "

"After searching for overnight accommodation at the very last minute, this turned out to be an absolute gem - room and bathroom spotlessly clean, and a comfortable bed. Coffee pod machine and bottle of water in the room and decent toiletries in the bathroom. Good quality breakfast included in the very reasonable price. Best of all the staff were smiley, polite and very friendly. Nothing not to like - thank you :)"
