"The pheasent is a wonderful hotel our room was exceptionally clean and of superb, the staff are always polite, helpful and wear a pemant smile. Breakfast was superb and the pool although small was really well managed with booking slots so it didnt get to busy . All in all a wonderful stay ."

"Two night stay. Chose this hotel for its location as its very close to the A64. Great base for exploring North Yorkshire. York about 10/15 mins away by car. The restaurant for breakfast is very relaxed and staff are lovely. Would definitely stay again."

"Exceptional hotel and will definitely be going back. Stayed in a garden room which over looked the pool and it was perfect. The weather was lovely so chilled round the pool on the very comfy sun loungers, had a dip in the heated pool and also went in the sauna. Very relaxing"
