"Tucked away from the Ring Road, a set of 4 historic buildings make up this hotel. Outside the window are majestic snow-capped mountain peaks. A small babbling creek flows between the buildings. Wallpapered room and period decor take you back to a simpler time. Staff was friendly at check in. Parking is available but spread out into smaller lots."

"We left a day early as the accommodation was not accurately described or pictured. This is a hostel and not a 3 star hotel. No staff, and slow to respond to email. Room not as pictured, cold and dingy, both hand soap and shower wash dispensers were empty, no kettle as advertised, TV with no channels, socket by bed not working, kitchette for shared use was unclean. So many good hotels in Iceland so don't waste your time staying here."

"We stayed 2 nights in the room with balcony during end April. Probably it was still off peak so it seems we were the only ones in the second night. The town was quite busy in the day but very quiet at night. Nice view and have the vibe of Nordic fjord."

"This place was absolutely adorable. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The only thing I will mention is the front desk agent there when we arrived should learn some manners. The morning staff made up for his curt demeanor and we enjoyed our stay overall. "
