"We had an amazing stay at this resort! Everything exceeded our expectations. The property was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. We especially enjoyed the pool and the relaxing atmosphere throughout the resort. The food was delicious, and every part of our stay felt enjoyable and stress-free. We truly had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to come back!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The beach was beautiful, our renovated rainforest-view room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were greeted with courtesy champagne upon arrival and even received early check-in. A special thank you to Juan Pablo at the buffet and Teddy at the 5 O’Clock Somewhere bar for their outstanding service and local recommendations. The food was good but a bit pricey; my only suggestions would be to offer more authentic Puerto Rican dishes and improve room soundproofing, as there was occasional noise from housekeeping and minor repairs. Overall, we had a great experience and are definitely looking forward to future visits.!l"

"the seagate was amazing! kelly was great about making sure we knew where we were going & parking & all that & her mom, who checked us in, was absolutely lovely & gave us a ton of really good recommendations. the grounds were so beautiful - you can tell how much love & work has gone into the seagate & we were so glad we stayed here!"

"This place is really peaceful and beautiful. I stayed for a few nights and enjoyed my time there. Parking was phenomenal and the staff are communicative. The only downside is there’s no TV nor a microwave in the room. There’s a microwave in the breakfast room/area that you have full access to anytime. And wifi is superb to where you can stream on your phone. Keep in mind though that they are near a rainforest so depending on time of year it'll rain. Also I LOVED and will miss the French vanilla coffee from their espresso machine. So dang good especially with cinnamon. Also this place is conveniently close to Luquillo beach and would definitely recommend going there early in the AM to be the crowds and get a good spot."

"We were very disappointed with our stay. We specifically paid extra for a room with a patio because we were traveling with our toddler and wanted a comfortable space to relax together after she went to bed. Unfortunately, the hotel oversold rooms and moved us into a lower-category room for half of our stay. While they offered a small credit, it did not make up for the inconvenience or the impact it had on our trip. We were also told the hotel offered childcare services for an additional fee, which turned out to be false. At that point we still tried to stay positive and make the best of the situation. Unfortunately, things only got worse. The room they placed us in was directly next to parties that continued until around 1 AM both nights. We barely slept. When we were finally moved to another room, that room had water leaking from the ceiling and the coffee maker was also leaking. We reported both issues to the front desk and were only told “sorry,” with no effort made to fix the problems. Beyond our room issues, the property itself appeared poorly maintained. Pool tiles were falling off and some drain covers were broken, which raised safety concerns. Employees even told us the hotel is expected to close in a few months for renovations. If a hotel is no longer able to provide a safe, properly maintained, and quality experience for guests, it should not continue accepting reservations in its current condition. This stay was extremely frustrating and far below expectations."
