It is on a public beach so you have to be aware of vendors also the area outside the hotel can be walked through but only in the day
This hotel is incredible!! so close to city center and all main attractions in Cartagena . I one hundred percent recommend it, staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast , pool restaurant , carta ajena and rooftop were excellent also so sophisticated. Special thanks to Erick , Adonis , luis, and Lisa thanks for your hospitality it made my stay even more special!
SUCH a beautiful place to stay, right in the heart of the walled city. We loved this place so much we wish we had stayed longer! Rooms felt grand, great decor, and rooftop was GREAT! Highly recommend.

We could not have been happier with Casa Claver Hotel. The hotel is a small beautiful boutique hotel located in the walled city. The hotel is so pretty. We stayed in a large suite with 2 bedrooms plus a loft. Our room had a washer/dryer and full kitchen (which added to the convenience). We were served a delicious breakfast every morning in our room. Inside the wall city. This hotel is on the mail road and there is a lot of sound from the vehicles and the traffic is until 11pm
We really enjoyed our stay, our room was a good size with a king bed that was very comfortable, everything in the bathroom worked perfectly

The stay at Wyndham started off bumpy, but Orlando saved the day. First room- the a/c sounded like a high powered vacuum. So Orlando was able to change my room. The rest of the stay was excellent. Staff is helpful. Best mojito in Cartagena is made on the 13th floor. Reasonable menu too. Uber from the Wyndham to any point of interest is most $3-$4 the most. Glad we selected this hotel.
This is actually my second time staying at this hotel. Most times when I travel, I'm usually by myself (and I'm a female), so being in a location that's super safe and that is walkable to restaurants, entertainment, and transportation is super important to me. It's a cozy hotel at the heart of the historic center, making it convenient and walkable for us, and it's absolutely gorgeous. The interior is a combination of both traditional and new, and the staff members are great! Kathleen was kind, informative and very helpful with everything. Breakfast is also good! Very satisfied with this booking.

The distinguishing factor was service of the staff. When my fiance had a medical incident, the staff sprung into action to help resolve the issue and make sure we were safe and comfortable (not to worry, she's totally ok now!)

Privado was so cute and safe to stay inside the walled city. It is a must to stay here, it is walkable to everything. The best thing is that the walls are sound proof so you are able to sleep in and any noise or party going on outside you won’t hear. Staff is so sweet and so helpful with restaurants ect around the area. You are a short 5-7 min walk to the clock tour and downtown area. I will be returning back and staying at privado with my family.
