"Fairly basic rooms but clean and comfy beds and shower was good Lovely gardens, we enjoyed watching the army ants carry leaves along the path Pool was nice to sit by in the afternoon and for a refreshing dip Breakfast was delicious, good coffee Enjoyed cocktail hour with crisps and dips "

"Very happy with this hotel. Better than others we’ve used in the area. Updated, clean, nice amenities in the lobby. Didn’t use the restaurant or bar but looked really nice. Used airport shuttle. On time and quick to the airport. We stay near the airport when we have an early flight out of San Jose."

"Amazing is an understatement. The hosts were very gracious, attentive, pleasant, informative, & over all the best host we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. The bungalow was very clean, bed was comfy and firm & necessary toiletries were provided & up kept. Even with no AC it got so cold at night that it wasn’t needed. It is very high up in the mountains, if you have never been to Costa Rica just be prepared for very steep, thin, one roaded roadways going up to the cottage. The views and peaceful surrounding make everything worth wild. Over all we recommend and look forward to returning here someday. "
