"We were delighted with the property. The place is kept very clean, with service daily. Adriana was the main housekeeper and she was most cordial, as well as her assistants. The front desk was most helpful. Cecilia was delightful and gave us maximum help answering all our questions. There are only 3 microwaves in the property, but a refrigerator and kitchenette for every room. The area is commercial with clothes discounts. The place is highly recommended. "

"The studio apartment was adequate for 3 women travelling together. It is located one block away from the 24-hour street. Everything was very clean, including the pool on the rooftop, although it was a little bit chilly to use it. Communication was not good. On our last day we found out about the extra mattress disguised behind the bed; one of us slept in the sofa. We had a hard time to figure out how to open the door; we called a couple of times and got immediate answer, but it was hard to...

"Great retro ols style hotel. This was a house from early 20th century. All the staff was very polite and helpful. They were able to acomodate me to another room before a surgery i had. Some rooms have AC but not all, but good flow from the cycling fan. The mattress was comfy and i enjoyed my stay."

"Despite the fact that the Hotel La Perla looks a bit dated, the service received was truly excellent — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. "Overall an okay experience. Room was okay and everything worked fine. Mostly ideal for one or two nights stay and not six nights as we did. Staff is not very helpful and doesn’t speak English. We were not allowed to place our bags at the hotel from checkout until we left in the evening. For longer stays be aware to pay in advance as the hotel doesn’t care about your price on Hotels.com. "The location is very convenient, almost the center of the city, the bus stop is right next to the place, subway is not far away too. Many places to eat and Western Union pickup point within 10 minutes walk. But the place itself sucks. The window in my room was fake😂. There was some utility area behind it and somebody was smoking cigarettes there, so my room smelled like an ashtray. AC was not working, only the fan on the ceiling, but it wasn’t hot, so I didn’t mention it. And this place has...
