Spent time in Galveston & Houston. Texas City was a nice alternative to the pricier Galveston hotels and condos and accommodations in Houston. Overall, though, the roads are AWFUL! So much construction going on! Very stressful trying to navigate.

Lots of construction on the roads and interstate 45 but other than that the city is okay. The restaurants and shopping centers are very close by. It was a great trip overall.

"The location and the facilities were good. Just across the street from the gulf. The couple upstairs stomping and yelling and slamming doors for 3 hours was the only negative. "
"The Quality Inn will be our go to place to stay when in Galveston. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of variety. The location was perfect for all of the activities that we planned. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful."
