Venice isn't for everyone but we enjoyed our time. Enjoyed beach, skatepark, people watching & the boardwalk. There is a lot of homeless & general film-flam but I never felt unsafe.

Walk the canals just for the scenic beauty and when you get to the end visit the shops and restaurants on Washington Blvd. Noah's Bagels has great breakfast food and down by the pier Mercedes Bar and Grille has 1/2 price omelets on weekdays.

Lots to see and experience but everyone was smoking pot everywhere which my young son hated and it didn't feel super safe at night with lots of homelessness, drugs and alcohol. Probably not the best for kids.

Venice is a place to visit for couple of days only. There's not much to do other than walk around the canals or beach. No malls or proper grocery stores nearby. Everything "important" to see in LA is very far away from here.

There were cacti and succulents lining the streets! I had never seen anything like it before! Also great things to do around this area, by foot.

I love Venice. Great beaches, interesting food choices, lots of fun things to do.
"The bed and pillow were so comfortable. I’m buying same mattress from your website. The neighbors were loud and slamming doors but other than that it was very pleasant. Didn’t hear a single plane "
"I loved staying at Hotel Burbank. The room was so relaxing and comfortable that I actually had the best sleep I've had in years! Bed, pillows and sheets were soft and clean. The air flow was great with the ability to adjust the temperature so that you can have the perfect temperature in your room. In addition, the staff were so pleasant and kind. I have to especially do a shout out to Jeremy (and the person who originally checked me in - I don't know his name... he was so great too!). And Jeremy went above and beyond to help me out. While out in Los Angeles, I had my wallet stolen (not in Burbank) and Jeremy did everything he could to help me. I hope he gets many and ample bonuses because not only is he professional, but he is also kind and aware. And really contributed to my stay being fantastic. Thank you so much! I have so much gratitude for you all. And I will be back. :)"
