"The Ramada on the Rideau is a hidden gem. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is conveniently near to major sites in Ottawa. The proximity to the Rideau and the canoe and kayak rentals was a major plus. We stayed there to attend a family funeral and the staff was very considerate and kind. Special thanks to Kiran and Mary Ann for their kindness during our difficult time. "

"New hotel by Ottawa airport within walking distance to terminal. Very convenient for travellers. Bar and restaurant on premises. Would definitely stay again. A suggestion on checkin. You can drive through departures level to access the hotel lobby first, prior to paying for YOW parking."

"The inn is perfectly located. Walkable to the byward market.
The room was stunning
The bed clean and comfy
The bathroom was clean
The bathroom had everything a traveller could need.
There was tea, coffee and cookies available at all time
Breakfast was above and beyond any hotel breakfast.
The staff were warm, welcoming and efficient.
This lovely,vert well kept inn will be our go to whenever we plan to be in Ottawa.

"Friendly and accommodating staff. Service of this level is rarely seen these days. Room was clean and well prepped for us. Quite comfortable. Breakfast was impecible. Pools were a comfortable temperature and was great to be able to swim outside this time of year. Will definitely be back."

"The end of a really nice weekend in the Ottawa area. Stayed at a really nice little hotel in Aylmer, Quebec just across the river known as The British Hotel, built in 1834. Apparently it was quite the brawl room in its heyday. Recently purchased and renovated to include some inexpensive but very modern 2nd floor suites, electronic check-in, lock box entry, self contained pub and restaurant, patio and separate country cafe, at $125/night definitely a place I will be staying at again."
