People are friendly and town is adorable! The weather is to die for and the beach and Bay is gorgeous. It's a quiet sleepy town that opens late and closes early. A truly relaxing vacation! The train ride is a joy and the local shops are delightful!

Almost every restaurant in Rockaway will stress you out either in service or budget or both. Trust us. Go north to Katys Marina and buy fresh crab, clams and oysters and they cook it for you. Also in Garibaldi there is a great pizza place!

Was somewhat difficult to find places to eat as things close early. Most restaurants were closed by 6p or 7p, or closed entirely during some weekdays.
