This island is a little gem and I wish we had found it long ago. We live in the Boston area and felt that St. Simons had a Martha's Vineyard vibe. Restaurants, live music, beaches...it has everything within walking distance! Loved it here!

Very romantic and quaint place. Lots of cute and historical things to do and see. Jekyll island is roughly 25 minutes away which also offers a lot to do and see.

Very quaint Pier Village where we shopped, dined and spent time on the pier watching fishermen catch fish.

I love the quiet, relaxing vibe. It's better for couples than families especially if you have active children as there is very little to do especially in the evening as everything closes at 8. Most stores are closed by 5 or 6; mini golf closes at 8.

I have always enjoyed visiting but this was my first time staying on the island. However, it has been quite a few years since I've visited. I was very impressed and really enjoyed my first historical trolley tour of St. Simons Island.

Sunrise walk from Goulds Inlent to the King and Prince, and return is 3.66 miles. Be sure to start pre-sunrise to maximise views.

Love this island!! Beautiful scenery and not overpopulated so you can get a real beachy. Feel without tons of crowds.
"The food and service at the rooftop Terrace Restaurant and room service were very, very good. Sorry they don't serve breakfast now. Would love to have seen what they did with that! Our suite was large and comfortable. We had a great stay."
"Room was clean, comfortable, very nice. Beds were very comfortable as was the pillows and linens. Great breakfasts. Whoever was on desk when we checked in Friday evening went above and beyond my expectations to ensure our comfort all evening long- I wish I'd gotten her name. Housekeeping very professional and helpful I was juggling a large breakfast tray and they very kindly let me in my room instead of me having to juggle everything to get key to get in( it's these little things people don't notice that count- like the dietary kitchen getting me a tray when I was struggling to take our breakfast to room) I travelled with my 16 yr old dog and I couldn't leave her alone long enough to eat in dining room. I always stay at Hampton Inn if there is one near where I need it."
