We love Dahlonega! We drive up three or four times a year. There are great dining options and an adorable walkable square with various shops and eateries. It is especially beautiful at Christmas with all the lights and decorations.

Busy but yet relaxing. Enjoyed the Bluegrass music and songs sung at the square and the shops and the local musicians that sat in front of different store frontage. Overall beautiful anniversary getaway

Historical gold mining center in 1800's. Summer heat in July was brutal-free water dispensaries and water fountains would have helped cool the downtown areas

Loved the downtown area but hard to find parking and even if you go to dinner early there will be a 2-3 hour wait

I enjoyed the little shopping area near West Main Street. I did takeout from a seafood restaurant and ate in my room. It was definitely a college town with touristy places to go. There were a lot of fast food places. The people from the area were nic

I live in Toccoa and Dahlonega would have been my first choice, but everyone wants to live there! I go all the time and never get sick of it.

We didn't love downtown Dahlonega (very kitsch), but the surrounding area was beautiful and had lots of options for wineries!

Dahlonega was a great and beautiful place to visit. My wife and I will be back!
"Located in downtown Helen, this property offers everything you need to enjoy your time there. They have a pool and are conveniently located close to shopping and dining options. It is also located in walking distance to Cool River Tubing if you have that on your bucket list. We Will definitely stay here again."
"Alpine was excellent. Pearson at the front gate was great and all smiles. They had instructions and guidance for everything and so close to Main Street. Family loved it. Would definitely go back. Thank you!"
"What an absolutely pleasant surprise to see the lodge after driving down the hill. It’s nestled in the woods and is just darling. Inside is beautiful; welcoming and warm, clean and our host kelly was the best. Loved chatting with a few of the guests in the morning over coffee. Beautifully curated antiques fill the common area.
Our room upstairs was just what we needed; nice and cool, super comfortable bed with fabulous sheets that felt luxurious!
I can’t wait to go back."
"Only thing I did not like and why I cant return is the daily pet fee of $25.00. Too much charging daily for small teacup breed. Should have size consideration or one time fee."
