Hotels in Saint Joseph

"Had to make last minute reservation due to weather. Front desk employee was super friendly. Since I had booked online he was having a little problem checking me in he said but eventually was able to with no issues. He set us up on bottom floor in a handicapped room, which wasn't an issue, but when my mother and I got into room because we were exhausted from already driving for hours, the bathroom floor and shower floor had hair stuck in the drain. We were only staying the one night so didn't address with front desk but had it been a longer stay it would have been addressed for sure. Also, the curtains don't stay closed when fan/heat is blowing unfortunately. I understand that people travel with kids, but the entire night there were what sounded like running all up and down the halls upstairs and yelling in the main hall down on the first level."

"Our room was full of bed bugs!! We chose this hotel because it is pet friendly. It is not worth the money. The hotel is poorly kept and unclean. The staff is somewhat friendly but does not compensate for the poor conditions."

"Stayed 3 nights while visiting the area. First, the good points. Nice size room which had a 2nd sink and mirror in the kitchen. Great when 2+ people getting ready in the morning. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast area is open 6-10am which is nice. Big open space with multiple seating options. Nice looking workout room with multiple machines and dumbbell racks. Now the not so good. The pool was a big letdown. Apparently they had to shock the pool before we arrived. The 1st day the pool was unuseable with high chlorine smell and chemicals floating on top of the water. The 2nd day was a little better and I tried to enter the water. Extremely cold, not like 69 degrees cold , but like ice bath cold and painful to the skin. The 3rd day was no change and we gave up. The breakfast was only mediocre. I’ve had better at other hotels in same price point. Not sure if I would go back a 2nd time. "

"The couch was stained. There were no curtains just a sheer fabric over the windows and there was a glaring bright light shining into the room. The shower was pathetic. No water pressure. "

"The room was clean and very comfortable for 5 adults to stay in. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was great! Only downside was that the pool was closed during our stay and Expedia did not notify us of this. Hotel provided us with compensation for the inconvenience."

"Great location in St. Joseph! Fantastic room at a great rate for the off season. The breakfast was most of the usual fare but was lacking in protein options one of the days. We had an excellent dinner at the Bistro. "
