Learn more about Sister Bay
Goats graze on the grassy roof of Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant, where locals debate whether the view or the pancakes deserve more attention. Waterfront Park offers front-row seats to Sister Bay's harbor, where sailboats bob like toys in a bathtub. Door County cherries appear in everything from pies to wine at local shops. Summer evenings bring free concerts where families spread blankets as the sun melts into Green Bay's waters. Take a scenic boat tour past limestone bluffs or challenge friends at Pirate's Cove Adventure. In autumn, the peninsula explodes with color, making drives feel like traveling through a painting. Sister Bay Beach provides perfect swimming for families, while the marina buzzes with fishermen returning with tales of the one that didn't get away.

Wilder Inn
"Location was good. Ephraim is a smaller community, not as many shops, restaurants. Hotel was a little dated. Beds are memory foam. Off-season the staff aren’t there at night. Breakfast/snack availability was great. Our tv was messed up and this wasn’t fixed."
Scandinavian Lodge
"I felt that because I made my reservation with hotels.com I was like a second class citizen. When I called to request a quiet room on a high floor I was told that they could not promise me a room till I showed up. When I arrived promptly at the appointed check-in time I was told that all of the upper floor rooms were taken and I would have to take a room on the ground floor. One other item of note is that there was no good way to darken the bedroom as the blinds were not of the kind that kept out a lot of light and there were no shades on the door or windows. So we woke up at dawn both days we stayed there."
Gordon Lodge
"What a peaceful stay. Since our stay was in October we were lucky enough to experience a more relaxed Door County as well as the delightful autumn planters and decorations on the grounds. Very lovely. We made the most of the breakfast buffet both mornings and were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the offerings. A return visit next fall has been discussed."
Settlement Inn & Lavender Spa
"Handy location to other Door attractions. Farmers Market on property Wednesdays. Large rooms."
Pine Grove Resort
"It was a great stay, but some of the guests that were there, were loudly talking about us at the pool. Talking about our swim suits and constantly saying weird things that applied to us. And the wife went out of her way to like say bye or hi. It was weird. And on our way out. We heard her saying they’re gonna try making it a yearly trip🙄. That was petty stuff though for me to bring up. Loved the place but will definitely try and go a different time of year!"
The Inn at Little Sister Hill
"Spacious room."
The Landing Resort
"Overall, this is a great place to stay for a couple or small family. Pretty tight space. It would have been fine for family of 4 with elementary age or younger. It's possible there are much larger rooms. Loved that they had lots of places to hang towels. Bathroom had a nightlight and enough towels. The location is in the heart of Egg Harbor so it's perfect. Overall nothing fancy, but very nice."
Coachlite Inn
"Wonderful place to stay. We stayed in the Chalet and it was heaven. We didn't need that much space, but it was the best solution for us. We also used the hot tub on site and it was very clean and much needed after hiking all weekend. Highly recommend!"
Open Hearth Lodge
"Our third visit. Always exceptionally clean. Nice we could stay for one night and not two night minimum."
