"Great Family Weekend at Star Lux ! Check in was fast and friendly on Friday night. Our room was clean and beds comfortable. The heated pool was amazing in the morning. All staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is steps from the boardwalk. All restaurants and shops are walking distance. Parking was convenient and safe well lit lot.
We will for sure be staying here again. "
"I was not sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews, but I liked this hotel and would stay there again. The room was clean and comfortable. I was in the “motel” section, and I liked it. I was able to sit outside in the evening and enjoy the view of the lit-up ferris wheel. The service was friendly. I loved the pool bar. The location was ideal - not right on the boardwalk but within a short walk of a few blocks. And there’s a used bookstore around the corner -perfect to stop at before hitting the beach. There is an indoor and an outdoor pool, and I took a swim in both. It was great to swim indoors at night and view the lights of the boardwalk and the town. I stayed by myself and was very comfortable. I did not find it noisy as some said. There was some music playing during the day and early evening, but people are on vacation so that did not bother me. At night it was very quiet, and I had no trouble sleeping. I took a nap one afternoon also and did not find it noisy. Overall, I thought it was a great place to stay. There is also a restaurant. I only ate there once, and my meal and drinks were good. "
