Quiet. Small town, off the beaten path. Enough to do but not at all glitzy... just quiet beach town with a grocery store, a gas station, a movie theater, souvenir shops, a mix of restaurants, a hardware store , and miles of empty beach...

Ocean Shores is a nice middle-class family vacation destination, with cute shops and activities like arcades, mini golf, and go carts. It's a bit run down (not a lot of new money), but maybe that's part of the charm. :-)

Ocean Shores is small, clean and quiet. Grocery store is adequate, plenty of dining choices for such a small area. Very walkable. Easy access to the beach, whether by foot or by car.

Economically depressed beach town past its 20th century prime. You can drive on the beach, fun, but not respectful of nature. Reasonable lodging prices due to run down properties. Deer and wildlife abound. Restaurants not so great but priced high.

Ocean Shores is a nice area on the Pacific coast of Washington. most shops are closed during the winter due to lask of tourists, however very crowded in the Summer.

Don't waste your money at Casino. Nobody winning at anything and food was overpriced. Other restaurants in area were good. Great shopping and friendly people. If your in the market to buy a place, lots of them for sale. Streets were clean and kept up

We ate at Bennetts seafood and the pub. Great service at both places. Tried antique shopping couldn't find any. The websites are not up to date. We sat on the beach where cars are not allowed to drive and enjoyed people watching.

Home Port restaurant web page says they are open on Tues, they are not. Great place to eat! Check out the go-carts and bumper cars. Also the thrift store behind the convention center. We go there every time we're there.

"
Staff were very friendly and helpful! Their are a lot of activities for kids and adults at the resort and theirs a nice trail to the beach. We had to leave early and were able to get a day refunded which was very kind of them! The couch in the room could use some cleaning, but we put our beach sleeping mat over it and it was fine. We want to come back soon."
