It's a very nice little town in a string of four on Route 1--Thomaston, Rockland, Rockport, and Camden (likely being the most famous). This spot "in the middle" offers very easy access to all four towns, with great restaurants and downtown shopping.

"This property was magnificent. We rented the king suite overlooking the harbor. The suite had a great balcony dbl sided FP in the suite, beautiful bathroom with heated floor. There is a restaurant on-site as well as a bar. The staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. Rockport may be going through a renovation in the town, not much shopping but Camden and Rockland are just 5 mins down the road. Overall, a beautiful hotel and location, "
