Love Coos Bay. We go a couple of times a year to visit Sunset Bay, Shore Acres Gardens, and Cape Arago. I'm not into shopping, but the downtown area looked like it had some interesting shops. Area was clean, felt safe. Great selection of restaurants.

It's nice to see Coos Bay building things and cleaning up the town. With their waterfront, and establishing new things for tourists, this could be the next town on the coast people want to travel to!

A nice small town, people were friendly. It is quite remote and the options of where to stay in the area are limited.

Coos Bay is a quaint little seaside town. Lots of things to do, from North Bend in north, to Bandon in the south. Spend a day wandering around. Cheese shop and Golf courses in Bandon Dunes are great. West along coast is Seal Rocks. Full of um.

Our only complaint is rideshare/cab services are pretty sparse. Coos bay is beautiful and any direction leads to more beauty!
"This hotel was interesting. Very nice accommodations and the front desk staff were friendly. We traveled with our dogs and asked if we needed a 1st floor ADA room. We didn't really need one, so I said no. But we got a 2nd floor room and it was nice. The downside, you have to lug your stuff up stairs (and back down) and the hotel is a little dated. But the room was large and the bed was comfortable! It fit the bill for the one night we stayed. Also, if you need a place to eat, 7 Devils Brew Pub is across the street and in walking distance."
"Despite an unprepossessing exterior, the room was lovely, spacious, great bed, great view -- all good except it was on the second floor and there was no elevator."
"Ive always liked this location. My room was right next to 101 so if road noise bothers you something to note. Doesnt bother me and slept like a log. Will visit again "
"The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The road noise was fairly loud but we turned the A/C fan on and it wasn't as bad. Overall had a good stay and would stay here again."
