Neat little town, some interesting businesses, restaurants, cafes, and coffee shops. Friendly folks, interesting local history. Access to outdoors, wilderness. One of my favorite stopovers along the I-75 corridor.

I have favorite weavers (Weaver's Bottom), and a favorite jeweler (RC Thompson)...two of my frequent stops when I travel to western NC from Michigan. Plus the Coffee and Tea shop near the Boone tavern is a very pleasant place to start your day.

Being a short trip we did not get to experience all that Berea has to offer. Things are spread out so covering everything would need more time.

Loved the town!! Dinner at Boone Tavern was excellent, both in food and atmosphere-great staff!
"Everyone that works there couldn’t have been nicer. The Internet access was a little difficult… Certainly wasn’t the end of the world! I found our stay to be delightful."
"Everything exceeded expectations—from the comfort of the accommodations to the spotless cleanliness. The breakfast was also delicious and well-prepared."
"Highly recommend this hotel. Had a minor TV issue that was quickly resolved. Indoor pool, adequate fitness room and an included breakfast with plenty of options. Comfortable bed and great shower. Only complaint is lack of info on service information on breakfast times, pool times in room. Staff friendly and professional."
