Cruise the sparkling waters of Canyon Lake, soaking up sun and scenery from a rented pontoon boat. Hike the rugged trails of Guadalupe River State Park or go tubing down the Guadalupe River for refreshing summertime fun.
You should visit the restaurant Breakwater Grill and Cantina near the lake. Delicious food & they have LIVE music. Tubbing on Guadalupe River horseshoe was excellent with Shanty Tubes. Bring a unsharp 3 foot stick to push if you get stuck on rocks.

We came for the Eclipse, we live closer to Houston. We were blown away how much cheaper eating out seemed to be here in Canyon Lake. Every restaurant we went to was way cheaper than what we pay for closer to Houston.

"We were on a business trip, so we were not able to enjoy all the vacation amenities available. However, the villa was fantastic and the check-in a great experience. We received several follow-up text messages to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying our stay. Check out was also simple; just sent a text message telling staff when we left and let them know the room was available to clean. Would defiantly recommend this establishment for vacations or extended stays."

"This was one of the best stays we’ve had in years. Immediately after checking in for our one night stay we looked around and requested a second night and the process was seamless. Wendy greeted me in the office and made check-in and the adjustment so simple. We met Vinny (the maintenance/cleaner) and he was the most polite, helpful and attentive hotel worker we have ever had the pleasure of meeting on a trip. The rooms were cozy, super clean, and the access to the river was an added bonus. Overall, this is a new place we will highly recommend to friends and family & be back over and over, and can’t wait to start planning our next trip!"
