Duong Dong is well-known for its attractions such as Phu Quoc Night Market and Phu Quoc Beach. Visitors to this beachside city speak highly of the seafood restaurants whereas sights include Dinh Cau and San Van Dong Duong Dong Stadium.
My only slightly negative comment is that the seafood restaurants at the Night Market are not as good value as in the past however in the main road leading to the market on the left hand side there are approx 7/8 restaurants which you might prefer!

Great restaurants nearby and free buses to night market and beyond. Friendly local people. Great ice cream at Night Market. Weather is hot and intermittently sunny and cloudy. Use sunscreen. Take bug repellent and use it.

Duong Dong seems to be a central location of Phu Quoc, travel tours would pick you up right from any hotels in Duong Dong without additional charge, but the area's cleanliness could be improved

Nice place to visit. Shame Star fish beach is not taken care of better. People throwing the star fish up on the beach to rake pictures, holding them up. The trash and oil on the beach where the boats take you from is awful.

We like Duong Dong, the ocean is close, lots of things to see and do. We found many excellent local restaurants and budget friendly free buses(green ).The hotel is a pleasant budget conscious hotel . I would be happier to see no smoking in the hall

"My adult daughter and I really enjoyed our 5 nights stay here. The resort was wonderful and the staff and facilities were faultless. We liked the variety and quality of the food at breakfast as well as the ambience (live piano). We also really enjoyed the two dining experiences we had at the Asian restaurant by the beach. The food was fantastic. It is a shame that the restaurant is not open on a Monday evening as we were looking forward to dining there on our last night. The gym facilities were excellent. It was clean and well maintained. Our Mountain View room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The grounds were well maintained and very beautiful. Highly recommend."
"Rooms were big and spacious with a nice ocean view and balcony. Pool overlooking the ocean was amazing. Bathroom was decent sized. No freezer, only fridge but was ok to keep our drinks cold. A good selection for breakfast. A 2-3 minute walk uphill to get to the Main Street but then you had everything there. Very convenient, would definitely recommend. My only negative was the wind was quite strong and our balcony door kept banging which woke me up. Other than that, definitely value for money. "
"Excellent resort with great ammenities. The gardens are just stunning and the pool area is the perfect place to curl up with a book. What makes this resort the perfect go to is the staff, Sam is a gift and the entire team do not fail to deliver day upon day. The rooms are a little bit dated but the resort gardens, ammenities and dining options make up for the lack of modern room styling. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance but for the price point and taste factor we happily ate at the resort on multiple occasions, most certainly do the upstairs dining option of an evening, an absolute experience. If you want drinks and vibe pop next door out the back to the left for some drinks and bites and then pop back to the luxury La Veranda has to offer. Truly it’s a home away from home and the staff create this beautiful energy :)"
"Nice pool on the beach, adequate gym and two restaurants. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff everywhere. This resort is near the airport but it doesn’t spoil your stay. Getting around the island is easy by taxi or grab. Not far from town and the night market."
