Penticton is a historic summer/beach town. The area is evolving from camping and family motels, into a wine-tour focused tourism. but it still has a lot of the family summer holiday vibe, especially along the the north shore strip, Lakeshore.

the north end of town has all the fun stuff - breweries, wineries, beach walk, old town. the south beach is where the camping is but almost no cafes, or dining. it's only a 15 minute drive from one end of town to the other.

Excellent Greek Restaurant, we went to with a friend. Close to the wineries in Summerland, & Summerland Sweets had excellent large inexpensive ice cream cones and syrups. My husband wanted to add the cupboard doors in both Suite #5 & #18 were sticky!
"This is our second stay here. The location is fantastic and the staff are wonderful. The kitchen was very well stocked. The sitting area in the back is very relaxing. "
"Spacious room but sink is not inside the washroom. If you wake up early to get ready, and the rest of the family is sleeping. The room is very bright."
