So many hikes, so little time. We stayed 4 days, 3 nights. Hiked every day, and every day was beautiful. Full of amazing sights and adventure. Legs were burning from all the climbing and hiking, but we couldn't wait to do more. We will be back .

Such a cute town with great access to lots of national parks, national monuments, national forests, and state parks. Go to Escalante Outfitters for the best pizza!

A small town of about 700 locals. Quiet and friendly. Limited bars and restaurants available, however just right and sufficient for what you need. Area hiking is great. Loved our Zebra Slot Canyon tour with Regan of ROAM tours, Escalante.

Tiny town that appears to be pretty much closed up for the fall/winter season. Most of the restaurants are closed and there really isn't anything here. That said, it was still a nice place for a brief stay between national parks.

Escalante is a small town but is clearly growing over time, with increasing options for dining. It is a very reasonable base for exploring this region. This was my third stay in Escalante

Rural community is coming up in the world, with first-class gear stores (yes, that's plural), some unpretentious dining options, and......a pub!

It's a sweet town for outdoors adventurers, but sadly, some of the local businesses are empty.

we visited during the winter time, some shopping/dining options were not closed for the season. Overall a great stay
"You definitely need your own transportation, there’s one restaurant that had really good food the Outlook, the property itself was wonderful nice relaxing Jan and Scott had breakfast for us every morning. It was very helpful of what to see while you were there.. I definitely recommend driving to Burr Canyon. "
"The owner manager Russ will take care of you! He runs an excellent motel. For what looks like your run of the mill motel this is not! Great bed, sheets, coffee!!! Everything is a step above what you would think it would be. Also a great place to explore Grand Escalante from! Oh and super clean!!!"
"Ofland was a great experience! It is clear that they take care of the property and really want to make sure guest are taken care of. Airstream was perfect and the bathrooms/outdoor showers were amazing. "
"Met the owner out in the yard working and he was very informative and helpful. If you read the letter that they send out check in is very very easy (of course I didn't read it all the way through). The resort is very impressive with all the comforts of home. Would stay again if in the area."
