A gorgeous city! Many different dining options/things to see. Do not miss the Butchart Gardens, and try to catch the fireworks show there. Try to grab high tea some place fancy. The Empress tea room is overrated. The water taxi harbour tour is great!

Victoria is beautiful & friendly. In the summer, flower baskets line the streets; the Inner Harbour is lovely. I always find something interesting in the lovely little boutiques or cafes on Government Street or on the side streets; & a great museum!

Visit Craigdarroch Castle, my favorite destination during our trip. The whole family fell in love with Beacon Hill Park--- between the ducks, geese, peacocks, songbirds, and friendly squirrels, it felt like we had entered a Disney princess movie.

Citizens of the area were friendly & proud of their city. We particularly enjoyed the Bell Ringers in the Belfry of Christ Church Cathedral on Victoria Day. Our bus driver to Butchart Gardens entertained us with such fascinating info.

Victoria is a gorgeous, regal city. Lots of Canadian history, very pretty and lively. The harbour is stunning and worth the time to walk past the main downtown and further into other areas.
"Beautiful property. Our room had a view of the harbour. Although there was a shortage of wait staff, the staff were friendly hardworking and did their best to keep everyone happy. The inside and outside bar were favourite stops before bed after we explored all day. There is some smart technology on the toilets which is great ( we have one at home that is a step up but this was refreshing to see as more environmentally friendly). "
"Top level hotel! Loved the location and views of Victoria. Very impressed with indoor pool and exercise facilities. Fathom restaurant was high end dining "
