This was my first time in Jackson. I would love to return to see more of the downtown capital area and civil rights history. I was surprised by the number of higher educational colleges in the area and the historic section. All need to be revisited.

Jackson has some work to do after years of neglect and flight to suburbs. Pedestrian malls, shipping, quaint nooks, all would help. And advertise!! Go for tourism! Build on museums!

If you have a family the only place to listen to music and eat with your kids is iron horse grill. Everyone else closes at 9 for children.

There are lots of things to do in Jackson. I recommend the area as well. I haven't experienced any problems as of yet.
