"The hotel is an old inn in Johnshaven, a fishing village at least 10 miles outside of Montrose, in Aberdeenshire not Angus. Lovely setting near the harbour. The family room had a double bed and two single beds in a separate section. Shower room was small but well maintained. A small heater kept the room warm which was good because the weather was terrible on the first day. The bar/ dining area was lovely, the staff were all super and the food was excellent. Seafood was a speciality although...

"You will not find a better staff than at Cove Bay. We can not say enough about the friendliness and kindness we were shown. The views were lovely and breakfast and dinner were both wonderful. We would stay there again anytime we were in Aberdeen."
