"Parking was safe secure and with ease. Lots of shops, restaurants, coffee places, parks and beautiful views nearby. Not to mention San Francisco "crookedest street in the world" is on Lombard Street, the same street as the hotel. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Rooms are very cozy but would be more comfortable if the hotel would change its old rug. Overall, I would definitely stay here again whenever I visit San Francisco."

"Honestly... this is a hidden gem. In the heart of the city. Easy to get to anywhere you'd want to go. No frills kind of property. But that's what makes it great to me. Great price and parking to boot. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This hotel is in the perfect location to do all the must do’s in San Francisco. The stop for the bus to the Golden Gate Bridge is directly across the street. The pier for Alcatraz is less than fifteen minutes away. Fisherman’s Warf or the Cable Car stop is five minutes away. And the best, a Trader Joe’s is three minutes away. "

"Parking was a bit of an issue, but manageable. Staff was excellent, both at the front desk and throughout the hotel. Don't miss the outdoor garden with the heated seats/bench, a lovely spot. The proximity to so many of the things which make SF special was amazing. Shopping, eats, bars (The Page and Gigis both stand out), Golden Gate Park, the fun SF vibe all made the trip and stay memorable. We'll be back to stay at the Metro! "
