"Rooms were spotless and loved having direct access to a small private pool along with complimentary drinks a snacks. Staff were really friendly and hotel had a lovely chilled vibe. Short walk to the beach, shops and bars. Food in the hotel was ok - breakfast was great, evening mean - not too much choice. Overall, an excellent days away and would definitely return."

"We paid extra for “”Priviledge” Status. It was well worth it. We were able to eat at the a lacarte dining room. You should book table early. To get early seating. They also serve breakfast. Great to avoid the Buffett, although very good. Plus, there is A Priviledge room with snacks and liquor. Plus, outdoor seating area near the pool. Very worth it. "The staff were excellent. The room was spotless. We had a heavy downpour on or first night which caused a slight issue with our room. The following morning I reported this to reception and she told me she would send up a maintenance man to have a look. Within 15 mins the man arrived and said we will change your room. "My husband and I wanted four nights away in the sunshine and warmth to sit and look at the sea and feel indulged and that is exactly what the hotel La Isla y El Mar gave us. Wonderful friendly and happy staff from reception to the restaurant to the bar. We even got a new cocktail on the house from David in the Kentia bar! We had a wonderful massage and couples experience in the spa. If you want to get away for a short break to the warmth and not do very much this is the perfect spot."
