"I was there for a trial at the Galveston County Courthouse. The hotel is pretty close without being too close. The room was clean and the AC worked just fine. My first time staying in Galveston for a 5 day period. The staff was very friendly and cheerful. The food was consistently good each morning. This is what a reasonably priced hotel should be. "Gulf Siesta was a perfect alternative to overpriced hotels on Galveston island. The apartments were clean and included all the amenities to feel at home. You're just a few blocks away from the seawall, so you're close to all the hotspots without the crowd. The complex is well lit at night and the owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. My family and I are planning to stay again this Summer. "
